WAFCON 2026: Egypt coach anticipates difficult clash against Super Falcons

Date:

Egypt head coach, Mohamed Kamal is anticipating a difficult contest against the Super Falcons of Nigeria, DAILY POST reports.

The Cleopatras will face the Super Falcons in their final group game at the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Rabat tonight.

The North Africans have endured a difficult tournament, going down to a 6-0 defeat against Zambia in their first game, before succumbing to another 3-1 loss against Malawi.

Kamal’s side needs a high margin win against Nigeria, and another result elsewhere, in their favour to have any chance of progressing into the quarter-finals.

The gaffer heaped plaudits on their opponent, and believed the Super Falcons’ quality and experience will make the difference in the game.

“Nigeria is a huge African football nation. The majority of their players play in the best clubs in the world. This level of experience makes all the difference,” Kamal was quoted by CAF online.
