World Cup 2026: Two countries qualify for Round of 32

At least two countries have qualified for the Round of 32 at the ongoing 2026 FIFA World Cup tournament.

They are Mexico and the United States of America, USA.

USA is the latest team to qualify for the last-32 after beating Australia 2-0 in a Group D tie Yesterday.

An own goal from Cameron Burgess and a goal from Alex Freeman ensured the USA defeated Australia at Seattle Stadium.

The World Cup co-host nation now has six points from two matches and sits at the top of Group D.

They will face Turkey in their last group match next Friday.

The USA now joins fellow World Cup co-host, Mexico, in the Round of 32.

Mexico had booked its place in the Round of 32 after a narrow 1-0 win over South Korea on Friday.
