#OsunDecides2026: APC senator Fadahunsi tells supporters to monitor voters’ choices
The senator representing Osun East Senatorial District, Francis Fadahunsi, has urged supporters at his polling unit in Ilase-Ijesa to monitor the choices made by voters during Saturday’s Osun State governorship election.
A viral video on Saturday showed the APC chieftain addressing supporters at Polling Unit 1, NUD Primary School, which also serves as a collation centre in Ilase-Ijesa.
Speaking in Yoruba, Fadahunsi was heard telling those at the polling unit to watch the candidates voters were thumbprinting for.
“Be looking at who people thumbprint for. Whoever votes for who he or she is not supposed to vote for is not a true indigene of Ijesa in Ilase,” he said.
PUNCH Online had earlier reported that Fadahunsi had come under fire on Tuesday over a video in which he allegedly issued threats against members of the Accord Party ahead of Saturday’s governorship election.
He was subsequently invited, questioned and released by the police on Wednesday over the matter.
His latest comments at the polling unit come amid the ongoing governorship election across Osun State.
