Aston Villa Women have completed the signing of Super Falcons defender Rofiat Imuran on a permanent deal.
Imuran becomes Villa’s ninth signing of the summer transfer window as the club continue to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season.
The 22-year-old left-back joins Natalia Arroyo’s side from London City Lionesses.
Imuran began her professional career in France with Stade de Reims, where she made 27 league appearances and scored seven goals across two seasons.
The Nigeria international moved to London City Lionesses in 2024, further developing her game in English football before sealing her switch to Aston Villa.
At international level, Imuran has represented Nigeria at major tournaments and was part of the Super Falcons squad for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
She also featured in Nigeria’s squad for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations
Speaking after completing her move to Villa, Imuran said:
