Ondo senator, APC chieftain hail Olowo of Owo at 60

The senator representing Ondo South Senatorial District, Olajide Ipinsagba, has congratulated the Olowo of Owo, Oba Ajibade Ogunoye, on his 60th birthday.

The senator, in a statement on Monday, said the reign of Oba Ogunoye had been peaceful for the Owo Kingdom, noting that the community had continued to experience development.

The statement read, “Your Majesty’s diamond jubilee is not only a celebration of age but also a celebration of a life devoted to selfless service, exemplary leadership, cultural preservation, and the advancement of the Owo Kingdom.

“Over the years, your reign has been marked by wisdom, dignity, peace, and an unwavering commitment to the unity and development of your people. Your fatherly guidance and invaluable contributions to the traditional institution have continued to inspire confidence, strengthen communal harmony, and promote sustainable progress.

“As a revered custodian of our rich cultural heritage, Your Imperial Majesty has consistently demonstrated uncommon patriotism and statesmanship. This remarkable milestone offers us another opportunity to celebrate your numerous accomplishments and pray for God’s continued grace upon your life.

“As Your Majesty marks this memorable 60th birthday, it is our earnest prayer that Almighty God grants you many more years in excellent health, divine wisdom, renewed strength, abundant peace and continued prosperity. May your reign continue to witness unprecedented progress, greater achievements and enduring harmony within the Owo Kingdom and beyond.”

Similarly, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress and former House of Assembly aspirant, Adeola Musa, also congratulated the Olowo of Owo, Oba Ogunoye, on his 60th birthday.

Musa said attaining 60 years was no mean feat in a country where “life expectancy is dwindling by the day,” describing the diamond jubilee as a remarkable milestone in the life of a man.

He prayed that God would continue to endow the first-class monarch with “excellent health, divine wisdom, renewed strength, uncommon grace, and many more years of a peaceful, fruitful, and prosperous reign.”

Musa said, “On the occasion of your birthday, I join your people, chiefs, and well-wishers to celebrate a father, a custodian of tradition, and a beacon of wisdom. May your reign be long, your health strong, and your throne ever glorious.

“Your life is a blessing to your people. Your wisdom guides us, your peace keeps us, and your reign gives us pride. I pray that God grants you good health, long life on the throne, and renewed strength to continue leading with grace.

“May the ancestors grant you more years of peace, prosperity, and impactful leadership over your kingdom.”
