Transfer: Nigerian striker seals move to Hungarian club, Újpest FC

Former Flying Eagles striker, Muhammad Tijani has sealed a permanent transfer to Hungarian club Újpest FC ending his three-year spell with Slavia Prague.

Tijani made a big impact during his loan spell with another Hungarian club, Nyíregyháza Spartacus during the second half of last season.

The 25-year-old registered eight goals, and three assists in 15 league appearances for Nyíregyháza Spartacus.

The Nigerian scored scored seven goals in 33 appearances across all competitions for Slavia Prague.

Tijani also spent time on loan at English third-tier Plymouth and Czech top-flight Sigma Olomouc.

He was part of Flying Eagles squad to the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
